Distillation and aging: The fermented pomace of Chianti Classico is distilled with a continuous steam stream, with a traditional copper alembic. Follows aging in oak barrels for a minimum period of 18 months.
Organoleptic examination: Golden color.
Intense, complex, ethereal bouquet. Floral notes that recall iris and acacia, followed by apple in spirit in the finish of fresh pomace, lilac and sweet spices, in particular vanilla. Well-harmonized hints of oak.
Particularly soft and persistent taste, with sweet marzipan and ripe yellow apple notes.
